Description: Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN - Med / Surg for our client in Colorado!

Total Gross Pay: $2,235.00

Duties

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
• Assess patient needs through observation, interviews, and review of clinical data.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, catheterization, and medication administration.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights, while providing education based on readiness and needs.
• Recognize and respect patient preferences and deliver care considering cultural and human diversity.
• Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel following State Board of Nursing and hospital policies.
• Model professional ethics and nursing standards in practice and teamwork.
• Provide mentorship and engage in continuous learning and skills competency.
  
  

Skills

• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Nursing skills specific to specialty.
  
  

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• State RN license or license under NLC required.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
